Kalkof Architekten Architecture & Project Development

Office

The Office

We think architecture as a whole — from the urban realm down to the building detail.

As an integrated practice we bring together an understanding of the city, visionary design and pragmatic delivery into one continuous process from a single source — with respect for what is already there and care in every junction.

  1. Urban Design

We read the socio-cultural realm as the fabric that architecture grows out of — in the interplay of place, scale and urban space.

  2. Visionary Thinking

From the larger picture we develop ideas that give a place a future.

  3. Pragmatic Delivery

We translate visions into economically sound, buildable solutions.

  4. A Feel for the Detail

Design ambition only lasts once it is resolved in the precise building detail.
